The Camp Fully Involved 2016 cartoon portrait caricature marathon has come and gone. I took photos of the cadets on Monday and had all 14 drawings finished in time for their graduation Friday afternoon. Each piece is 5.5×8.5 Xerox coverstock, sketched with a carmine red Ticonderoga pencil, inked with a 0.3 Copic Multiliner and colored with Copic markers.

This year seemed like a struggle since last year I did twice as many. I guess maybe the quality and likeness is better though, so going a little slower doesn’t feel wasted. I’ll take a week off front Copic portraits because I’m tired but I’ll be excited for next year before too long. Here’s my handy-work. Click on it for a larger version.
